“Excellence in Concrete”

Nominations are now being accepted for

Maryland concrete projects completed in 2007!

(Completed submittals must be received by April 21 st , 2008 )

The Maryland Chapter of the American Concrete Institute Awards Committee will recognize outstanding concrete projects at the Annual Awards Banquet on Thursday, May 29 th at the Engineering Society of Baltimore.

Maryland projects completed between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2007 may be nominated. Participants of the most outstanding projects will be awarded.

Nominations will be classified under the following categories:

1. COMMERCIALBUILDINGS Office, hotel, hospital, etc.
2. PUBLIC BUILDINGS Municipal, Cultural, Academic, Ecclesiastical, etc.
3. RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS Single Family, Townhouse, Condominiums, etc.
4. TILT-UP BUILDINGS Any type of building where tilt-up is used
5. HEAVY CONSTRUCTION Pavements, Bridge Structures, Public Works, etc.
6. PARKING STRUCTURES New construction
7. REHABILITATION Any of the categories listed
8. ARCHITECTURAL / DECORATIVE Used in any type of project
9. MISCELLANEOUS Any use of concrete structure or use of concrete not on the above categories
